When it comes to The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, one thing is certain: Midge knows a thing or two about makeup. Whether she’s commanding the B. Altman Revlon counter by day or performing a bold stand-up set by night, Mrs. Maisel’s beauty game is always tailored to perfection — right down to her lipstick.
That’s why Revlon has partnered up with the hit Amazon original series for a brand new collection filled with an array of Midge Maisel-approved lipsticks.
Aptly titled the The Marvelous Super Lustrous Collection, the collaboration features two sets: Take the Stage Reds ($18.99, Amazon) and Stand Up Nudes ($15.99, Amazon).
The bolder of the two, Take the Stage Reds, comes with three must-have Revlon hues of Certainly Red, Cherries in the Snow (which gets a personal shoutout from Midge in the show), and the iconic Fire & Ice.
On a more muted note, there’s Stand Up Nudes, a collection of easy-to-wear, neutral shades that are perfect for everyday use — Blushing Mauve, Pink Truffle, and fan-favorite Rum Raisin.
“Midge’s own bold choices are a hallmark of the show and reflect her trailblazing spirit as she finds her own path to independence in the late 1950s and early 1960s,” Revlon explained in a press release.
It was an iconic time period for the brand, as well: Its historic Fire & Ice campaign was released right around the same time, encouraging women to wear makeup for themselves — and not just their partners — for maybe the first time, well, ever.
Now, the company is urging Mrs. Maisel viewers to do the same with its new lines just in time for season 3 (watch the trailer below) — at least while its limited edition collections last!
